The GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) is more specific about the information we need to provide to people about what we do with their personal data which will come into effect on 25th May 2018 and replaces the Data Protection Act 1998.
Under the new GDPR, individuals have eight distinct rights which can be used to govern how their personal data is handled and used by business organisations.
